Morgan Holland, After completing her Bachelors degree in Communications and Public Relations from the Univ of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2005 and exploring Los Angeles, CA for over a year, Morgan Holland found herself back in Chattanooga ready to start a new chapter. Always being interested in events and logistical planning, Morgan found the local company, Soirees. She soon fell in love with her job and was later given the opportunity to make it her career. She purchased the business in 2008 and has been successfully planning weddings and events ever since. Morgan got to experience the other side of the wedding business when she married her husband, Michael Holland of Chattanooga Tent Company, in March 2009. Together their weeks are filled with events, travel and the occasional weekend off!
Cassie Tindell, a Chattanooga native, received her Bachelors degree in hospitality management from the University of Mississippi, graduating with honors in May 2009. She began working with Soirees the summer after her junior year of college, finally realizing what she wanted to do after graduation. During her senior year she worked with a local Mississippi event planning company, and moved back to Chattanooga to pursue her career at Soirees. Cassie’s southern charm and trendy eye make her a great fit with all of our clients when designing the overall theme of their wedding. When asked what her favorite part of event planning was, she said, “being able to combine our creative ideas with clients visions to produce the perfect event.”
Kristin Dotson is a wife, mother of three and the most over achieving person you will meet. Kristin began working for Soirees in 2007 as a part time event assistant and became one of the Lead wedding coordinators in 2008. She has a passion for the event planning business and for pleasing each and every client. Her excitement and attention to detail show throughout the entire planning process. When asked what her favorite part of the business is, she responded, “The rush and excitement on the day-of; watching all of the months or years of planning and long-awaited details come together in a matter of hours!
Hannah McEuen began working at Soirees in the summer of 2007, while completing an internship for GPS. She is currently completing her Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, while double minoring in Business and Accounting at the Univ of Mississippi. While you can only catch Hannah in the summer or at the occasional Christmas event, she is one of the many summer staffers who keeps the business going during the crazy months of spring and summer. Hannah is very detail oriented and never lets a detail slip through the cracks. When asked what her favorite part of the planning process is, she responded, “helping make a clients dreams come true and the satisfaction of seeing how much they appreciate everything when it all is said and done.”
Sarah Yarnell is our newest addition to the Soirées team! Sarah began as an intern after graduating from the Univ of South Carolina in May 2009 where she completed her Bachelors degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. She is the most familiar voice you will here when contacting Soirees, as she works first hand with all of our clients from beginning to end. She is currently training to be come a Lead Coordinator and with her laid back personality, she puts all of our clients at ease! When asked what her favorite part of the job has been so far, she responded, “Seeing the event come to life through the eyes of the client…the emotion they have as they realize all the time, effort and organization that went on behind the scenes to make their day incredible.”
